"There. That's cleaned out news and current affairs nicely..." 10 October, 2005.

Reference Number: DCDL-0000278

Bill Ralston, Head of TVNZ's News and Current Affairs Department, aggressively clutches a smoking Kalashnikov rifle. There is a lot of blood around. A voice which appears to be coming from a potted plant asks him if he really needed to take out thousands of viewers as well as the high profile media people he has got rid of. The most recent one is Judy Bailey. Bill Ralston had been employed to achieve these changes in the TVNZ line-up.
