"I'm off to the Home and Garden Show to get some new ideas." 7 October, 2005.

Reference Number: DCDL-0000265

A couple have just moved into their newly-built house and are in the process of developing a garden. The husband is sweating over a spade as he attempts to deal with a mountain of topsoil. On the ground beside him is a garden gnome and a large spikey plant. The sound of a little fountain from the pond nearby cools the air. His wife stands surveying the scene and decides that she will go to the garden centre for some new ideas. This is an interesting illustration of different ways of working demonstrated by the two sexes.
