Shows two young Maori women seated on front of a carved meeting house holding taiaha. They are wearing piupiu as an upper body garment and tag cloaks draped over their knees. Over the entrance way to the meeting house is the name `Whatu Tamainupo' [carver?]. Photograph taken by William A Price, ca 1909.
