Four cartoons relating to gambling at the races. The top left drawing shows a better who has failed to win, about to punch the man behind the ticket window, who is about to 'collect' a punch. The second drawing shows a punter at the races at night, desperately scrabbling through discarded slips. He has won 1967 pounds, can't find his slip and a cleaner is trying to sweep up the slips. The third scene shows a man hearing that his horse has won, but his winning ticket is being blown away by a breeze. The final drawing, bottom right, shows a man at work, holding his head. Two colleagues are commenting 'Mixed doubles - too many in the bar yesterday'
