Reference Number: B-133-024
Shows an argument between the Press and publicans (bar owners). Refers to controversy with the press attacking drinking establishments, a threat from publicans to the press as a result, and the cartoonist's solution - that journalists should boycott the pubs while prices remain high. Prices had just gone up from eightpence for 8 and a half ounces of beer to ninepence for 9 ounces.
