Seated portrait of Mrs Wakarina Pipi taken circa 1916 by the Tesla Studios of Wanganui. Shows a kuia (elderly Maori woman) wearing a korowai (tag cloak), and holding a patu (hand club). She wears (shark?) tooth eardrops on ribbons and a tiki around her neck. She has a chin moko.
