"What do you think of Helen Clark, then?" 2 September 2005
Reference Number: DCDL-0000136
We are in high mountain country somewhere in the south island of New Zealand. We see the back views of two cow-cockies wearing oilskins and cow-cockie hats and riding horses; alongside run several dogs. One asks the other what he thinks of Helen Clark and the other replies that she's a hard woman finding the perfect job. The message seems slightly ambivalent in that one is not quite sure how much of a compliment this should be deemed to be but on the whole there is a grudging admiration it seems to me.
