That's not my handwriting. The person responsible for this foul libel should own up, now..." 30 August 2005.

Don Brash, Leader of the National opposition, is shown standing beneath a large leafy tree. He is dressed casually in shirt sleeves and loose tie and is holding a clip-board. On the tree someone has carved the words 'Don' and 'ACT' inside a heart pierced with an arrow. Don Brash is pointing at the carving and querulously denying responsibility. Refers to the continuing fascination over who National might be able to have as coalition partners in order to get the numbers to form a government in the run up to the election. National seems to be developing rifts with most of the small parties.
