The New Zealand Minister of Finance Roger Douglas is the albratross. From its feet hangs a man representing the New Zealand goverment on a rope tied around his neck. The man holds a sword to cut himself free, but they are flying over a sea full of sharks.Douglas's economic reforms, known as 'Rogernomics', became increasingly unpopular with the New Zealand public.
