A group of gum diggers stopped for a picnic lunch on the gumfields, sharing loaves of bread, and drinking billy tea from mugs and beer from bottles. Gum spears and shovels are dug into the ground among the men. Photograph taken circa 1910? by the Northwood Brothers.
