Two New Zealand politicians are both trying to catch a kitten, representing the soldiers' vote with offers of 'gratuity' milk - William Massey offers a gratuity of one shilling and sixpence in an open dish, while Joseph Ward offers a two shilling gratuity in a jug. The kitchen is attracted by the dish.
