Photograph taken from a captioned reproduction (photographer unidentified) showing the launching of the yacht Rona in 1893, from Logan's shipyard in Auckland. The caption to the image reads: `The launching of the 5 rater Rona in 1893. Designed by the Scottish genius, G L Watson, and built by Robert Logan, senior, this veteran cutter, still sound in plank, races in Wellington to-day and frequently crosses the notorious Cook Strait during her visits to the Sounds. She is a striking example of Logan workmanship combined with the great lasting qualities of the kauri pine timber.'
