Historical Notes: Built in 1931 as the `Ardenvohr'. In 1937 transferred to the New Zealand Shipping Company, renamed `Kaimata' and used on the Canada to New Zealand service. In 1954 transferred to the Avenue Steam Ship Company and renamed `Antrim'. See internet: www.theshipslist.com/ships/lines.
