Historical Notes: White served with the 50th (The Queen's Own) Regiment of Foot from 5 December 1856. Served in the New Zealand wars from 15 November 1863 to 2 October 1866. Appointed Aide de Camp to Brigadier General Waddy on 26 January 1865 and served on the staff until 7 April 1866. (Source: Hart's List, 1868)
