Major James Babington (centre), Take Take Rangitupu (right), and an unidentified man, photographed by Malcolm Ross in March 1904 during a visit by Governor Lord Ranfurly to the far north. Probably taken at a village inland from Mangonui where a farewell for Lord Ranfurly was held.
