Historical Notes: The cloak in the photograph is now in The Museum of New Zealand, Te Papa, and has the name Kaitaka Aronui. The man is possibly the father of Ihaiah Porutu (1821?-1886). (Info from Yolande Lewis (nee Pitt), Aug, 2004)
