Historical Notes: This locomotive was built by Nasmyth Wilson of Manchester, England, in 1885. It was taken over by NZR (New Zealand Railways) in 1908 and re-numbered 451V. It was written off in 31 March 1922. See 'Register of New Zealand steam locomotives, 1863-1971' by W G Lloyd.
