Crossing the intersection is a motor car displaying sign - Whitcombe & Tombs, Printers. Shows two trams being driven up Lambton Quay. On the corner (in front of bank) is a weighing scales and a telephone kiosk. Photograph taken in the 1920s by Sydney Charles Smith.
