Group photograph of (from left) Captain Arthur Ernest Harris (fl 1855-1866), Lieutenant Robert Mercer Todd (fl 1858-1866), Captain Christopher Hore Hatchell (fl 1855-1866), and Lieutenant Joseph Hogarth (fl 1858-1866). All are officers of the Forty Third Regiment (Monmouthshire Light Infantry) which served in New Zealand from 1863 to 1866. Photographed by an unknown photographer in the 1860s.

Historical Notes: Hon. Arthur Ernest Harris joined the regiment on the 14th of April 1854 and was promoted Captain on the 23rd of July 1861.
