Children's fancy costume ball, July 4th 1882. Programme [cover].

The front shows a large ornate courtyarded building with flags flying from the towers at each corner of the roof. Small figures approach the building up the foreground driveway. On the right, by turning the card on its side, one can see a ballroom scene illustrated in gilt or brown, with figures talking together, dancing and playing.
