Menu items included: chilled rock melon, compote of fruit, rolled oats, Weeties, All Bran, Milk sago, Weet-bix; fried fillets of terakihi au citron; Carrington Stew, American Dryhash cakes, broiled rashers of bacon; Fried eggs, scrambled eggs, grilled calves' fry and bacon; roast veal, plan salad, French fried potatoes; white and brown rolls, hot milk scones, toast, sultana griddle cakes with golden syrup, preserves; tea, coffee, cocoa. Smoking was not permitted in the dining saloon.
