Norman Kirk is dressed as Hoss Cartwright of the TV cowboy series, Bonanza, and is practising shooting at a wanted poster showing Keith Holyoake. There are posters of Bonanza and the Ponderova, with pictures of Kirk, and 'Vote the Kirk right family' (Cartwright). A man comes in with a newspaper in hand (headline: Mr Holyoake would refuse TV debate) and says, 'You can stop rehearsing, Hoss, he's not going to accept any challenge'. Another headline explains that Labour MPs have been rehearsing on closed circuit television for the election campaign.
