Steam locomotive "D" 131, built by Scott in 1887. Photograph taken by Albert Percy Godber. The two men visible in the image are identified as R. Cunliffe, and A. Ainslie (in cab). This image is a film negative taken by Albert Percy Godber from a print in one of his albums.

Historical Notes: "D" 131 was built by Scott (Maker's no. 38/87), went into service in January 1888, and was written off in November 1916, then sold. See "Register of New Zealand Railways locomotives, 1863-1971" by W G Lloyd (1974).
