"K" class oilburning locomotive No 925. Photograph taken by New Zealand Railways, circa 1936. This image is a film copy negative taken by Albert Percy Godber from a print in his album Vol 108, p 125 (PA1-q-101) in which he acknowledges New Zealand Railways as the photographer.

Historical Notes: "K" 925 locomotive was built in 1936 at New Zealand Railways Hutt Workshops (maker's no. 302/36), went into service in July 1936 and was written off in July 1964. See "Register of New Zealand Railways steam locomotives, 1861-1973" by W G Lloyd (1974)
