Part two of a two-part view of Paeroa. It shows mostly commercial buildings, a few houses, a church and the business premises of James McAndrew & Company Ltd (Timber merchants), centre right. Historical Notes: Part of a collection of images relating to the Thames and Hauraki areas (from APG-1772-1/2 to APG-1779-1/2). The location was identified from a building on the extreme left of this image, which links with the one on the extreme right of the first negative. Identification of place from Wise's Post Office Directory (1914 edition), which lists James McAndrew & Company.
