A central long table, with men playing cards, chatting, smoking, drinking tea, etc, while others are on their bunks around the side of the room. To the right is an inset showing a detail of the large fireplace, with 5 or 6 hooks with cooking pots suspended from two of them, a larger pot alongside the fire, and a man standing in front.
