Standing portrait of Mrs Newbigen, photographed 10 October 1913 by S P Andrew Ltd of Wellington. She is dressed in a full length frock, with a bodice embroidered with beads. A cape, edged with fur, hangs from her shoulders. She wears earrings, a necklace (a cross?), bracelets, and rings. Her hair, parted in the centre, is pulled softly away from her face.
