Church interior, looking towards the altar, between 1896-1930

Looking towards an altar in a wooden church, probably in the Taranaki region. Shows pews on either side of the aisle, and a table holding a vase of flowers. Gas lamps hang from the ceiling. A sign on the wall above the altar reads: "God bless our Sunday school". Illustrated stories about Daniel and Moses hang alongside. Photograph taken by James McAllister between 1896-1930.
