Dr George Simpson inside the hut, on the telephone to Lieutenant Evans, timing an occultation of Jupiter during the British Antarctic ("Terra Nova") Expedition (1910-1913). Shows Simpson standing in one corner of the hut with the telephone to his ear, looking at a sidereal clock. Lieutenant Evans is outside observing the occultation through a telescope.
