Members of the the British Antarctic ("Terra Nova") Expedition (1910-1913) around a Midwinter Day tree in Antarctica. Shows a group inside the Antarctic hut, around a table, upon which stands a tree made of feathers, small flags and other found items. It is decorated with lit candles. Photograph taken on the 22nd of June 1911 by Herbert George Ponting.
