Mural depicting Maori waka and warriors, which Air New Zealand intended to feature in the decor of its DC10 jets. Artist of mural unknown. Photograph taken by an unknown photographer and published in the Evening Post, 20 September 1972. Original caption reads: "One of two murals which Air New Zealand will feature inthe decor of its giant DC10 jets, the first of which is due in New Zealand next January. This mural, in the first-class compartment, will be 2ft by 3ft 6 in, showing a semi-stylised version of a pre-European Maori canoe..." (Evening Post, 20 September 1972)
