Historical Notes: "L" 207 steam locomotive was built by New Zealand Railways at Petone (maker's no. 50/03), went into service in September 1903, written of in March 1938, after which it became Otahuhu works shunter from 1939-1940, and in use at Whangarei until April 1942.
