Bishop Charles John Abraham laying the foundation stone for the second Christ Church in Wanganui. Looks over graves, and a stack of bricks, towards a crowd surrounding the Bishop in the centre. Houses, and other buildings, are beyond. A sign on the left, advertises the business of a carpenter named Richardson. Photograph taken by William James Harding on the 16th of October 1865.
