Pier at Tongatabu (also known as Tongatapu), Tonga, photographed by Malcolm Ross, while he accompanied Lord Ranfurly, and others, on a cruise on board the Mildura to the Cook Islands, Niue, Tonga, and the Kermadec Islands. Ross was working as the New Zealand correspondent for The Times newspaper (London).
