Hiscocks, Ercildoune Frederick :When the last guest says goodbye. 1902

Richard Seddon at a farewell dinner in London. There is a large pile of plates in front of him, and many bottles of wine on the table, with empty bottles on the floor. Around the table are seated various British dignitaries. Seddon is making a sentimental farewell speech to the pile of plates. Tears are coming from his eyes and he appears to be drunk.
