Socialist Party march, Waihi, 1912

Members of the Socialist Party march down the main street of Waihi, past the Temperance Hotel, during the 1912 Waihi miners strike. At the front of the line, some men carry banners, including: `The World's Wealth / Millerton Socialist Party / For the World's Workers' and `[illegible] comrades / this capitalist class / who will free our comrades / the working class / arouse ye workers / your liberty is at stake'.
