Harry Nelson Hawker standing beside the De Havilland DH9 that he piloted from Blenheim to Nelson, with its two passengers J W Perano and H McArtney. This was the first passenger flight and the second aircraft to reach Nelson. Photographed on 13th November 1921 by Frederick Nelson Jones in Nelson.
