Historical Notes: Notes in Godber album Pa1-q-102, page 106, added in the 1960s after Godber's death, read "For possible exact identification see "N.Z. Railway Observer", 19 no. 4, Summer 1962-63, p 140 'First passenger train from Auckland to Onehunga, Dec. 24, 1873'. Alternative identification provided by "Auckland, yesterday and today" published by Milne & Choyce, 1941, p 113 'First train to leave Auckland for the Waikato, 1873'".
