Traffic travelling on the Hutt Road, Wellington, south of the Petone overbridge, past a road sign that reads: "Emergency Headlight Restriction Area", "Left Headlight - Restricted Beam. Right Side Light - Dim or Park." To the left, a road-side advertisement beside the Petone Junction signal box advertises "Brasso". Photograph taken 1 August 1943, by an unidentified photographer for the Evening Post.
