Running diagonally across foreground is Lower Cheshire Ridge secured by Lt Col W G Malone's Wellington Infantry on 6/7 August  in preparation for the assault up Rhododendron Ridge onto the heights of Chunuk Bair. - Pugsley 'Gallipoli' p 279. In the far left centre is Bauchops Hill. "
