THE "FLYING SCOTSMAN" SPEEDING NORTH.— The London and North-Eastern Railway express, known as the "Flying Scotsman," speeding over Welwyn Viaduct, Herts, on its journey from King's Cross, London, to Edinburgh, Scotland, a distance of 329.7 miles, the world's longest scheduled non-slop run.
