Shows the front of a small single-storey cottage with thatched roof and a verandah supported by five pillars. The cottage has two or three front windows and a front door, two chimneys and a lean-to, with a picket fence running from the house on both sides. A circular garden bed is in front and a cabbage tree, flax and another plant, possibly a fern, are to the right
