Unidentified young Maori woman photographed by Frank J Denton, circa 1904, probably in the Wanganui region. She wears a taniko bordered cape with feathers and long tag cords, and has a white tipped feather in her hair. A rectangular pendant, and a tiki, hang around a ribbon on her neck and she wears ear adornments made of ribbon and (animal tooth?). She has a facial moko and holds a toitoi branch.
