Inscriptions: Inscribed - bottom centre: Auckland Takapuna Beach Tourist Series 817; Verso - This represents one of our many beaches, is really a grand place for summer [sports?]. At present a [bry?] Carnival is being held there lasting a week. Don't think the style of dress seen in the photo is what is wan here a present, I didn't notice the style till mater drew my attention [it it?]
