Evening Post (newspaper) caption of 10 November 1949, reads: "Still there. The house-in-one-piece which started out from Petone yesterday to be established at the top of Koro Koro is still getting there. Here it is one corner higher that it was during the night. This is the last of the worst bends; the rest of the way up will be only hard work." Evening Post photograph taken on the Korokoro hill, with Petone in the background. Photographer unidentified.
