Shows ornately carved frontage of storehouse on two poles, with notched climbing pole for access. In left background sit a Maori man and women with cooking pot and dog in front of whare. There is a wooden enclosure fence with carved posts at right, and bags of food (kumara?) are stacked beneath the storehouse.
