Original caption reads: "Two [unidentified] Japanese youths on their way to attend a scout jamboree held recently at Yamaguchi [Japan], in the area formerly occupied by J-Force. Very keen, they bicycled 30 miles with their machines heavily laden with camping gear. The boy scout movement in Japan, which was suppressed during the war, now numbers several thousands."
