Large team of horses hauling a log to the mill at Horopito. Photograph taken by Albert Percy Godber. According to Wise's Post office Directory (1921 edition, p 2343) the Horopito Mill was owned by the Berg Brothers.

Historical Notes: Note on the back of the file print reads "Horse train. Ohakune. 1909" but this does not match the information in Godber's Album (Vol 109, p 136 (PA1-q-102) with an original print of this image, and which has the inscription "The timber industry. Horopito. 2/21".
