Historical Notes: This may be a New Zealand-produced poster; in any case copies were displayed widely throughout New Zealand from 3 November 1941 as part of a "Don't Talk" campaign. (See photograph at 1/4-041098-G). Advertisements with the same wording were published in periodicals (NZ Mirror, December 1941, page 41; NZ Listener 21 November 1941, page 13; NZ Listener, December 1941, page 11).
