An arrangement of text, in different typefaces. There were 5 events including a 4 1/2 mile race of cyclists versus horses, where the horses were changed every 1 1/2 miles. The starter was H C Fricker, esq; judges were H Calders and A Broad; Lap-keeper was E P Heaphy; and the Clerk of the Course was P Swingland.The rainbow background was produced by using a "rainbow roll" before the letter printing was done.
